Tipple Containers
The original 'Tipple' © Plant Containers are salvaged solid oak half barrels from the drinks industry in original finish or hand-painted using genuine Farrow & Ball © contemporary colours. If you don't see the Farrow & Ball © colour choice that you want, just let us know and for a small extra charge we'll order it in and customise it for you.
Single orders can be made through PayPal via the website but for multiple orders call us and we can take debit/credit cards payments over the phone (apologies our website technology isn't up to it yet!).

Tipple Containers - please note!
Our containers are individually hand painted to order. For this reason please ensure that you select the correct PayPal button in our 'Shop' for the colour combination you require. If you do make an error please contact us within 24 hours by telephone or email so we can correct the order for you. We are unable to accept back or refund payment on wrongly selected containers after delivery. Please also check your container for any damage in transit before signing for it.
We treat each Tipple © container with a rust proofing treatment and prime it carefully before painting commences. Tipples are intended for outdoor use, they are of a rustic nature and often have natural inconsistencies, some rust and weathering may occur in time but we hope you will appreciate this uniqueness.
Dimensions are approximate and colours may vary from computer screen to screen so may not always match the actual pieces precisely for this reason. All paint colours specified (except previously the Tipple Glasshouse - see below) are manufactured by Farrow & Ball © and for reference their colour charts are widely available at good paint suppliers.
We use only a limited choice of colours and therefore do not stock the full Farrow & Ball © colour range - so please check with us first for custom designs. Our paints are supplied direct from Farrow & Ball © in Dorset.
We reserve the right to make alterations without notice. Finished barrels may differ slightly from the those shown on the website.
